This Summer
High School girls!
This summer, we will not be having combined girls and boys time on Sundays in the Summer. All of our ROOTS time will be on Wednesdays. YAY! Can't wait to have some super awesome fun with you all.
Brad and I thought it would be a good idea to pursue girls' and boys' studies separate this summer. I would really like for us to consider this. Maybe we can keep a meeting time on Sundays and do something special just for us girls to continue to grow, bond, and learn. We can set up an afternoon time like lunch or after church sometime (preferably in the afternoon) or we can choose a weekday. Everyone is going to have crazy vacation schedules, but it would be best if we pick a day to meet consistently.
I am interested in what you all are interested in learning more about. I will give you three options here on the blog and I would like you to share with me which interests you most!
Options:
--Learning how to read the Bible: a structured studying on reading the Gospels and applying it to our lives
--Read Francis Chan's book, "Crazy Love" Visit this link to learn more about the book. It is wonderful and I would recommend it for anyone: a baby Christian or an experienced one. http://www.amazon.com/Crazy-Love-Overwhelmed-Relentless-God/dp/1434768511
--Learn more about Proverbs 31 and what it means to be a woman of God (same study that I am doing with another group of girls)
Options for meeting days and times - maybe each girl can take a turn hosting at their house OR we can meet somewhere...
--Sundays after church (afternoons)
--Tuesday afternoons
--Thursday afternoons
--Friday afternoons
